BREAKING NEWS: These Marble Cupcakes are now LESS caloric.

I grew up in a house full of marble cake and cupcakes. The smell of baking dough and sugar filled the air and my mom always had a fresh batch of marble cake ready for us to eat. She would put it in the oven while we did our homework, and we would be able to eat it with ice cream on the side.

The marble cake was my favorite. It was always so dense and moist, with a marble-y texture. It was so delicious that even now, I can’t resist a bite of a marble cake. My mom also taught me how to make cupcakes, and I love them just as much. I love the taste of fresh Vanilla cupcakes with a cream cheese frosting. They’re my favorite to eat on lazy days when I want something sweet but not too indulgent.

Growing up, my mom and I always enjoyed our marble cake and cupcakes together. We would spend hours in the kitchen baking them, and we would always have a good time. Now, whenever I see a cake or cupcake in a store, I can’t help but think about the good times I had with my mom baking them. I hope I can make as good of cakes and cupcakes as she does one day.
