Easy strawberry cupcakes that are twice as delicious.

I loved strawberry cupcakes, as did my sister. We would raid the cupcake cabinet together, grabbing any and all strawberry cupcakes we could find. These days, my sister and I are very different. She’s a pediatrician, and I work as a Web developer. But back when we were kids, we were inseparable. We were close, and our bond was strengthened by our shared love of strawberries.

One summer day, we were in the kitchen baking strawberry cupcakes. As we mixed the batter, we realized that there wasn’t enough strawberry flavor in the mix. We decided to add some more strawberry extract to the recipe.

However, as we poured the batter into the doughnut pans, we realized that there weren’t enough strawberries to go around. We would have to share.
