M&Ms are my favorite candy. I love the sense of nostalgia that comes with biting into a bag of M&Ms from my childhood. I love the way they make my mouthfeel weird and I love the way they taste. But my favorite thing about M&Ms is the fact that they come in a variety of flavors that I can’t get anywhere else.

My friend Hannah and I were brainstorming favorite flavors to make into small batch cookies and we came up with the idea to make M&M cookies. We started by downloading a recipe for M&M cookies from the internet. After we followed the recipe we realized that we would need a lot more M&Ms than the recipe called for. We ended up having to ration our M&Ms so that we could make enough cookies to satisfy our craving.

Making M&M cookies was a sensory overload. The smell of the cookies baking drove us wild and the taste of the cookies was even better. We could tell that the cookies were made with real M&Ms because they had that unique M&M flavor.

We enjoyed our cookies so much that we decided to make another batch the next day. But this time we decided to make small batch cookies with only a couple of ingredients. We substituted chocolate chips for the M&Ms and the cookies turned out even better.

Making small batch cookies and savoring each and every one of them is one of the best things about being a kid. The nostalgia, the taste, and the happiness are all indescribable. I can’t wait to explore more flavors and make even more small batch cookies.
